There are 2,000 Vocational and Technical Training job opportunities, according to the Ministry of Education.

The trainers under the State Department for Vocational and Technical Training would be stationed in different universities throughout the nation, according to an announcement obtained by the Star.

“Applications are invited from qualified Degree, Higher National Diploma and Diploma holders for the positions of Vocational and Technical Trainers,” the advertisement said in part.

The ministry is looking to engage 687 diploma holders as trainers and 1,313 holders of degrees and higher diplomas.

The 47 counties will be home to a variety of jobs.

The Public Service Commission states that information about the positions and the application process is available on its website, www.publicservice.go.ke.

“Interested and qualified persons are requested to submit their applications directly to the institutions where vacancies exist by filling ONE (1) PSC 2 (Revised2016) application form and attaching copies of National ID card, academic and professional certificates, transcripts and any other testimonials to reach the respective Boards/Councils on or before March 19, 2024 (Latest 5. 00p.m East African Time).”

Kakamega will receive the largest share (101), followed by Nairobi (96), Bungoma (88), Meru (86), and Uasin Gishu (83).

Mandera and Tana River counties will receive the most trainers (17 each), followed by Samburu and Marsabit counties (16 each), Wajir counties (15), West Pokot counties (9), and Isiolo and Lamu counties (5 each).
