A new half-term calendar for the school. The cabinet secretary for education, Ezekiel Machogu, has disclosed significant details regarding the 2024 school calendar.
This schedule’s effects on various educational levels include

- teachers training colleges.
An important highlight of the announcement is that schools reopened for Term One of 2024 on January 8,
The term is scheduled to conclude on April 5, spanning a total of 13 weeks.
This announcement was met with widespread approval, especially among teachers and education stakeholders.
School Calendar With New Halfterm Dates
Furthermore, the report indicates that half-term breaks will remain consistent with their previous schedules.
These breaks are set to occur from February 29th to March 3rd, lasting for three days instead of the previously observed seven days.
According to local media reports, learners will then proceed to a holiday break from April 8 to April 26, which will span three weeks.
Term Two is scheduled to commence on April 29 and continue until August 5,
It will feature a standard three-day half-term break in June.
